By downloading, installing, or using PlanetVPN ("the Service", "our Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PlanetVPN ("we", "us", "our"). By using our Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

PlanetVPN provides a Virtual Private Network (VPN) service that:

Encrypts your internet connection
Protects your online privacy
Allows secure access to internet resources
Provides multiple server locations

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You SHALL NOT use the Service to:

✗ Engage in illegal activities or violate any laws
✗ Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
✗ Conduct hacking, cracking, or unauthorized access
✗ Engage in spam, phishing, or fraud
✗ Violate intellectual property rights
✗ Harass, threaten, or harm others
✗ Access or distribute child exploitation material
✗ Engage in terrorism or violence

Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your access.

4. NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES

Our Service is designed to protect your privacy, NOT to facilitate illegal activities. You are solely responsible for your actions while using our Service. We comply with all applicable laws and will cooperate with law enforcement when legally required.

5. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Specific connection speeds
Availability of particular server locations
Compatibility with all devices or networks

Service may be affected by factors beyond our control, including:

Internet service provider restrictions
Network congestion
Government censorship or blocking
Technical maintenance

6. FREE SERVICE LIMITATIONS

Our free service may include:

Limited server locations
Bandwidth restrictions
Connection time limits
Advertisements
Lower priority during peak times

Premium features may be offered through in-app purchases.

7. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

PlanetVPN offers auto-renewing subscription plans ("Premium Service") that provide access to faster servers, ad-free experience, priority support, and other premium features.

Payment and Renewal

Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Restore Purchase

If you have purchased a subscription but it is not active, you can use the "Restore Purchase" button in the app settings to reactivate your subscription.

8. ACCOUNT SECURITY

You are responsible for:

Keeping your device and app secure
Not sharing your access with others
Reporting any security issues immediately
Maintaining up-to-date software

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by PlanetVPN and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

Copy, modify, or reverse engineer our app
Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
Use our name, logo, or trademarks without permission

10. PRIVACY AND DATA

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. We follow a strict no-logs policy and do not track your online activities.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party services.

12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Security or accuracy

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLANETVPN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
Service interruptions or errors
Actions of third parties
Your use or misuse of the Service

14. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlanetVPN from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

15. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service:

For violation of these Terms
For illegal activities
At our discretion with or without notice

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app.

16. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

PlanetVPN is operated from Singapore. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If such negotiations fail, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, which shall not be affected by this choice of law provision.

18. COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS

PlanetVPN operates in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) - as our operating jurisdiction
European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - for EU users
Other applicable data protection and privacy laws in your jurisdiction
International laws and regulations applicable to VPN services

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

19. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under Singapore law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

20. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PlanetVPN regarding the Service.

PlanetVPN is operated from Singapore and is available in most countries worldwide. By using this Service, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
